1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the sale of products and services by Squirrel Forensics Ltd to customers. By using our website www.sqfr.uk (“the Site”) and purchasing our products, you agree to abide by these T&Cs. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our Site or services.

3. Your status
By placing an order through our Site, you confirm that:
• You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
• You are at least 18 years old.
4. Contract formation
• Your order constitutes an offer to purchase a product. Once we confirm your order via email (“Acceptance Confirmation”), a binding contract (“Contract”) is formed.
• The Contract applies only to products specified in the Acceptance Confirmation.
• Any product descriptions, images, or advertising on our Site are provided for guidance only and do not form part of the Contract.
5. Consumer rights
• You have the right to cancel a Contract within 14 days of receiving the product.
• If you cancel, you must return the product in its original condition at your own cost.
• Certain products, such as unsealed software, are non-refundable unless defective.
6. Availability and delivery
• Orders will be fulfilled based on availability and shipped within the timeframe stated in the Acceptance Confirmation, usually within 30 days.
• Delivery is made to the address specified at checkout. Address changes after dispatch may incur an administrative fee.
• Full payment is required before dispatch.
7. Risk and title
• The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery.
• Ownership of the products transfers to you only after full payment is received.
8. Pricing and payment
• Prices are as listed on our Site and include VAT but exclude delivery costs.
• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
• Payment is accepted via credit/debit cards and PayPal.
9. Returns and refunds policy
• Faulty or damaged goods: Defective products can be returned within the warranty period for a repair, replacement, or refund.
• Change of mind: You can return products within 14 days, provided they are unused and in their original packaging.
• Non-returnable items:
   – Software with broken security seals and consumables (unless faulty) cannot be returned.
   – Customised or non-standard configurations of products built to customer specifications.
   – Volume license software purchases.
   – Products not purchased directly from Squirrel Forensics Ltd.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
• Customers must request a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) before sending returns.
10. Warranty and repairs
• Products are covered by a 3-month return-to-base warranty, unless otherwise specified.
• Warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised repairs.
11. Limitation of liability
• Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business, profits, or data.
• We do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Export compliance
• Our products may be subject to export controls under applicable laws. You agree to comply with all relevant export and re-export control laws and regulations.
• We do not guarantee that our products can legally be exported, re-exported, or imported into any specific jurisdiction.
13. Use restrictions
• Our products are not intended for use in high-risk applications, such as life support systems, where failure could result in significant harm or damage.

• All intellectual property rights related to our products remain with Squirrel Forensics Ltd.

• Software updates or patches may be made available periodically, but compatibility with third-party applications is not guaranteed.
