Virtual Boot

Choose the source image, memory allocation and temporary copy-on-write location. These settings prepare a boot attempt; the screenshot does not show a running virtual machine. The selected FAT16 test image contains no installed operating system.

The native virtual-boot dialog presents the source image, host resource assessment and temporary copy-on-write location. CPU, memory and hypervisor options can be reviewed before attempting a guest boot.
