Partition Recovery

A missing partition entry does not necessarily mean all of its contents have gone. The demonstrated workflow locates a FAT16 partition and checks selected recovered files.

  1. Scan the training image for a recognisable partition structure.

  2. Inspect the located FAT16 partition and select the relevant deleted-file entries.

  3. Extract selected files to a separate destination and compare their hashes with known originals.
